Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sahayak ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Sahayak provides an AI-powered customer support platform that includes a knowledge base, embeddable chat widget, multi-language AI responses (10+ Indian languages), help center, analytics, and team collaboration tools.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

4. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 15-day free trial with limited usage (500 messages, 3 knowledge sources, 1 team member). After the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. No credit card is required for the trial.

5. Subscription and Payment

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay
  • Prices are exclusive of applicable GST/taxes unless stated otherwise
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
  • No refunds for partial months of service

6. Usage Limits

Each plan has defined limits for messages, knowledge sources, and team members. If you exceed your plan limits, the AI chat widget will stop responding until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious, harmful, or deceptive content to your knowledge base
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to generate spam or misleading information

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (documents, articles, website content). You grant us a limited license to process, store, and use this content solely for providing the AI support service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

9. AI-Generated Responses

AI responses are generated based on your knowledge base and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of your knowledge base. Sahayak is not liable for incorrect information provided by the AI to your customers.

10. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party service providers.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sahayak's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
